This is just a tiny selection (from the US, not the UK); feel free to post more as a tribute to the groupthink that created this huge disaster for Iraq, the region and the world. Remember also that this doesn’t include the talking heads on TV news who were overwhelmingly pro-war
And I haven’t included any of the books from that cursed year, that could be a whole extra thread
Goes without saying that virtually everyone in this thread continued to fall upwards thereafter; also that the effect of their work in 2003 was to legitimise the claims made more honestly (though less decorously) by the neocons – see Jonah Goldberg (from 2002) below

How many of those calling for Putin’s arrest were complicit in the illegal invasion of Iraq?

No, primerjava med Rusijo in Ameriko glede Ukrajine in Iraka ni ustrezna.
Glej:
O vzrokih, ki so pripeljali do vojne v Ukrajini
https://damijan.org/2022/06/27/kaj-vam-mediji-niso-povedali-o-ukrajini-pro-korrini-narodi-ukrajini/
Ukrajina sistematično požiga ruske knjige v knjižnicah in sistematično načrtno izrinja uporabo ruskega jezika iz šol, uradov in javnega življenja. Glej:.
While announcing a meeting with relevant organs, Yevheniya Kravchuk, chairwoman of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada’s Subcommittee on Information Policy and European Integration, said that 19 million books had already been cleared away from Ukrainian libraries last November.
Of these, 11 million were shredded because they were signed by Russian authors in general.
This program, which began in June 2022, aims to destroy 100 million books related to Russian culture [1]. So this is just the beginning.
It is the largest censorship plan since World War II. Several Heads of State and Government have spoken out in favor of Ukraine joining the European Union “as soon as possible”.

On 19 May 2022, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Information Policy issued instructions the Ukrainian Book Institute to destroy all books published in Russia, printed in Russian or translated from the Russian language.
According to the director of the Book Institute and former president of the Publishers’ Forum, Oleksandra Koval, it will be necessary to destroy at least 100 million books that convey evil. Some works will be preserved by university libraries for specialists to study the roots of Evil.
This auto-da-fé also targets all the classicis of Russian literature from Alexander Pushkin to Leo Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
Kdaj je Irak to delal Američanom?
