Spodaj je celoten govor ameriškega obrambnega minsitra Peta Hegsetha. Po že znanih Trumpovih robnih pogojih po pogovoru s Putinom, jih je Hegseth še dodatno pojasnil. Ključna so tri dodatna pojasnila. Prvič, ZDA ne bodo dale nobenih varnostnih zagotovil Ukrajini. Drugič, Nato sile ne bodo napotene kot morebitne mirovne sile v Ukrajino in tudi če bo kakšna članica Nata poslala svoje enote v Ukrajino, to ne bodo ameriške enote in ne bo jih varoval člen 5 Sporazuma Nato.
